Owner and founder of MG Industrial, Martin Gula, always wanted to go into business for himself, since he was very young. MG Industrial is a dream come true for him and he started out with a very humble beginning. Martin used to work as a dishwasher at a family restaurant and in 1999, he came to the U.S. as a student with only a bag full of clothes and $500. Martin did not speak any English when he first arrived, but was determined to make something for himself and start his own business.
With a background in electrical engineering, Martin spent many years doing mechanical and electrical repairs for small repair companies. He received the opportunity to work for Pinstripes and became the manager of repairs for their first location. He helped Pinstripes to open and design three more locations, and this gave him the opportunity to see what was missing in the market. Using his knowledge, he opened his own business and filled the gap.
Established in 2011, MG Industrial is a commercial foodservice repairs and installation company that is a one-stop-shop for their customers. They are able to help restaurants maintain and service their buildings, and they cover all aspects from the designing, installing and maintaining of equipment.
MG Industrial differs from competitors because Martin develops a close and personal relationship with each and every one of his customers. Martin said, “We are honest and we try to be fair. That’s why our customers love us.”
